Bathed in Christ

I'm Justin, a 17 year old student, at the moment in the middle of year 12.
Studying is hard work but my priority is always getting to Adoration on a
Thursday night. I just can't miss an oppurtunity to spend time with Jesus.
When I first discovered Adoration, I thought it'd be one of things you go to
every now and then, but after a few times of spending time with the Lord, I
realised I can't do without it.

I need Him in my life. I need to spend quiet time with Him in prayer and
adoration every week. People say, "Big deal, I spend time with Christ in
prayer at home. He's everywhere isn't he?" True, but when your in the
presence of the Blessed Sacrament you can feel Him alive in front of you and
in all the other people gathered in prayer. You are "transformed".

Holy hour on a Thursday is what keeps me going. It's sort of like my
weekly bath. Say at the start of the week, everythings great and the bath is
full of water. By Wednesday, things aren't too great, I'm having a bad week -
the bath is almost empty. Thursday nights(adoration) makes me feel great and I'm back where i want to be. In other words, the bath is so full, its
overflowing!

Adoration is a huge blessing in my life. It just gives you a chance to stop
and pray with Jesus right there in front of you and believe me, it changes
you. He changes you.
